Glenda is a Senior Mental Health Specialist with more than 20 years working in the sector. She has a Bachelor and Master degree in Psychology from Central University of Venezuela and Military Hospital Dr. Carlos Arvelo placed in Caracas-Venezuela.Since 2000 she has worked in a variety of settings, including private and public health services in New South Wales and overseas. She provides a diverse range of psychotherapy and counselling services to children, adolescents and adults of all ages and backgrounds who present with emotional and mental health difficulties.In her professional career Glenda has been orientated to support people experiencing mood disorders, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, trauma with special emphasis in post-traumatic stress disorder, domestic violence as well as drug related issues. Her treatment modalities are based in Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Schema Therapy.Glenda is a full member of Australian Psychological Society (APS) and currently part of the Australian Government-Department of Human Services through Transcultural Mental Health Center.
