Jessica Villanueva

Clinical Psychologist

Jessica is a Clinical Psychologist, registered nationally with AHPRA. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the Australian Catholic University.

Across public hospitals, schools, community organisations, university clinics and private practice, Jessica has supported children, teenagers, young adults and families through a wide range of experiences, from anxiety and low mood to obsessive-compulsive difficulties and trauma. She draws on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Family-Based Therapy, Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Circle of Security and Parent Management Training, always shaped around the person in front of her rather than a one-size-fits-all plan.

At the heart of Jessica's work is partnership. She takes time to understand each person's story, making sense of things together and caring for the whole picture: mind, body, and the relationships and world around them. She is passionate about helping people understand what they are experiencing, hoping to offer a safe and steady space, tailored to each person, and to walk alongside families through the ups and downs."
