Taylah is a qualified social worker, holding a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) from the University of New England. She is also a registered member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). With a strong background in the non-government sector, Taylah has gained valuable experience working with adults facing complex mental health issues, addiction, offending behaviors, and homelessness.
Taylah's therapeutic approach is centered around her clients, working collaboratively with them to help achieve their goals. She is passionate about empowering individuals to rewrite their own narratives, leading to improved relationships with themselves, others, and their environments.
Specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, mood disorders, and personality disorders, Taylah incorporates evidence-based therapies into her practice. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), among others.
